Pete Bouvier is a web copywriter for the healthcare industry by trade, writing for both public and private health organisations in the UK and in Europe. 

Born and raised in Liverpool, he now lives in Spain with his wife and two children, where - in his free time - he writes novels. His first, The Scioneer, a sci-fi thriller set in the near future was completed in 2011 as part of the ‘NaNoWriMo’ challenge: an online competition to write a 50,000-word novel in just thirty days.

He dedicated more time to his second book - The Game Changer, published in 2013, which delved into the world of international cyber-attacks and set a group of criminal hackers against a hero close to Peter’s heart, the good old National Health Service.

Since then, Peter has written two children’s books - epic poems based on the fictional island of Tikulo and the adventures of its warring tribes, the Bora and the Concha.

He joined the Provoco team in 2021, and we’re looking forward to publishing his first novel with us later this year - a crime thriller with a supernatural twist set against the backdrop of New Orleans’ Hurricane Katrina. Watch this space!
