Kathryn Barnett lives in Hampshire. She is a qualified homeopath with a degree in homeopathy from Middlesex University. Her interest in natural medicine inspires her writing.

Three sisters, Kathryn’s debut novel with Provoco, is a coming-of-age story which explores how the Hampton family come to terms with epilepsy, the suffragette movement, and the onset of World War One. The Hampton’s live in Lymington, and setting the story in her local town made the novel a pleasure to write for Kathryn.

Her debut novel, ‘Trust Me On this One, Emily’, historical fiction about the thalidomide scandal was published by Cactus Rain Publishing in 2019.

Kathryn enjoys writing at her local coffee shop and walks to the sea provide the inspiration for her writing.

Kathryn's first novel for Provoco Publishing, 'Three Sisters' was released in 2023 and takes us on a rite of passage journey with Charlotte, Violet and Rose Hampton, as they grow up fighting for their freedom in pre-world war one England, and as they try to shake of the shackles of family love and obligation to each become their own woman. Kathryn's beautifully crafted historical fiction is not to be missed!
