John Howard's first novel for Provoco Publishing is a delicious murder mystery set in the higher echelons of 1920’s society. Anthony, a lover of the silver screen and boxing, is a young dreamer who becomes embroiled in a real-life nightmare in A Scandal of Secrets, published in late 2023.

When he’s not writing, or working, John helps his wife bring up their daughter, Daisy-Mae and supporting Everton Football Club, who he says need all the help they can get!

John lives in Blackpool and not surprisingly, given the mentions of the silver screen and boxing in John’s debut novel, he loves the cinema and boxing! 

John is currently writing the second book in The Crawford Chronicles, which has the working title 'Past Secrets,' which re-introduces us to an older Anthony and several interesting new characters, due for publication late 2024.
