Jane Murray is a multi genre author who writes under her own name and under the pseudonym of D.C. Cummings. Her work ranges from historical supernatural tales to chick lit to psychological thrillers and her first foray into this particular genre, written as D.C. Cummings, was released on 1st October 2025 and more books in this genre are planned. Other forthcoming publications include a sequel to her debut novel, The Cottage, which is still Provoco Publishing’s number one best seller, a cosy crime novella, currently being penned and a historical wartime family saga planned for late 2027!

Jane lives in a four-hundred-year-old cottage on the English / Welsh borders in a small village where she is Verger of her local church as well as being a Trustee. Having completed a Foundations for Ministry course recently, Jane feels called to ordination as a Distinctive Deacon.

 As the owner of Provoco Publishing, Jane is a strong proponent of independent publishing and will work with un-agented authors because she says it cuts out the middleman and leads to a better working relationship between author and publisher.
