Dexter C Channing is just one of the pseudonyms used by author Jane Murray, who also writes as D.C. Cummings and Andrea Martin-Neill. 

Virus, 'Dexter's' latest novel, is the first in a trilogy of books focusing on the Covid lockdowns and the pandemic of 2020/21.  The other two books, Resistance and Resurrection are currently being penned and will be making an appearance soon!

'Dexter' is a faction writer - taking real life events and building a fictitious story around them, using fictional characters and times and places, although Virus was written in real time, almost as the pandemic unfolded and certain places and events really took place, although, thankfully, not everything in the pages of Virus did actually happen. Or did it?
