Chris is a qualified dentist working as a Dental Core Trainee in the West of Scotland. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honors (BDS Hons), but his professional journey didn’t start there. Before diving into the world of dentistry, Chris was a registered pharmacist, a role he dedicated nearly a decade of his life to. This background in pharmacy has given him a well-rounded perspective on patient care, one that he carries into his dental practice today.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, writing, hillwalking, camping, and of course, his family and friends play an important and integral part of his life,  Chris also enjoys sports, being an avid F1 fan as well as following and supporting Everton FC.

His writing, particularly in the science fiction dystopian genre, is where many of his interests converge. The cyberpunk aesthetics reflect his fascination with the future and technology, while the dystopian themes often mirror the challenges and complexities he encounters in the real world. Through his novels, Chris invites readers to explore these intricate worlds with him, offering not just escapism but also thought-provoking narratives. In essence, Chris is a testament to the idea that you can pursue multiple passions and still find balance. Whether he’s in the dental clinic, out in nature, or at his writing desk, he brings a sense of curiosity and dedication to everything he does.
